This program is a demo of grid mechanics similar to the background grid in Geometry Wars. As the mouse moves over the grid, it "pushes" the nodes of the grid downward. However, each node is linked to the nearby nodes, causing a kind of vortex.
There are three modes in it. In the first mode, nothing special happens. Everything just kind of fades back to zero when the mouse moves. To spice things up, I added damped simple harmonic motion to the nodes. If you hold the middle mouse button, you'll see the results of that. Everything becomes too stiff. So instead, in the third mode, the nodes only oscillate if the mouse has passed over them. Hold the right mouse button to see the results of that.

Windows Binaries are available in addition to the source code, which is GPL'd.

Download the windows binaries, extract it, and run the .exe?
Or download the source code and compile it yourself.
